These terms

These terms apply to orders placed with us through this website. Please read them before you order. By placing an order you agree to them. They don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.

Your order

When you place an order we email you to confirm it. If you pay online, your order is confirmed once your payment goes through. Our contract with you starts when we confirm your order.
We may decline or cancel an order if a product is no longer available, if there's an obvious error in a price or description, or if we can't fulfil it at the time you chose. If that happens we'll tell you and refund anything you've paid.
You can change your collection time, and cancel an unpaid order, from your account up to 48 hours before your slot. After that, please call or email us. See Cancellations & refunds.

Prices and weights

Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. You pay the price shown when you place your order.
Our meat is cut to order, so final weight is best effort and may differ slightly due to being a natural product. Images are for representation only.
Some items, such as a rib of beef, vary too much in weight to price in advance. These show a price per kg: you choose the size you'd like, and we weigh it and charge for it on collection.
Discount codes can't be exchanged for cash, and only one can be used per order.

Collection

You choose a collection time at checkout. We'll have your order ready for that time.
Please collect during your chosen time. Our meat is fresh and perishable: if you can't make it, let us know as soon as possible so we can keep it chilled. We can't hold uncollected orders indefinitely.
Please refrigerate or freeze your meat as soon as you receive it, and follow the storage and cooking guidance on the label.

Paying

Card: you pay in full online when you order.
Items priced by weight (shown with a price per kg): we weigh them when your order is ready and you pay for the whole order on collection.
Cash on collection: nothing is taken online; you pay the full amount, in cash or by card, when you collect or receive your order.
Online payments are taken securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. If an online payment isn't completed within 30 minutes, your order is released and nothing is charged.

Allergies and dietary needs

We prepare products in a shop that handles allergens, including those in our sausages, burgers and marinades. If you have an allergy or intolerance, please ask us before ordering and we'll tell you what's in each product.

If something isn't right

The law says what you buy must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If anything is wrong with your order, please tell us straight away. See Cancellations & refunds for what happens next.

Our responsibility to you

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not using reasonable care. We aren't responsible for loss or damage that isn't foreseeable.
We supply our products for domestic and private use. We aren't responsible for any loss of profit, business or business opportunity.
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Changes and the law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you order is the one that applies to that order. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
